Note: The four wires consist of the negative pole of the power supply, the positive pole of the power supply, the speed measurement signal line, and the PWM control line. Firstly, the power supply line of the fan should be found. Generally, if the fan has a red and black line, then red is the positive pole of the power supply and black is the negative pole; If there is no red fan, it is usually the positive pole of the yellow line and the negative pole of the black line. After the power is turned on, the fan runs at full speed. When the other two wires are connected together (not elsewhere), the fan speed will significantly decrease. Disconnect these two wires and connect the control wire to the negative terminal. The fan will run at a lower speed (some fans may stop running). Note that this last step can be used to locate the control line, as the speed measurement line connected to the negative pole of the power supply is unresponsive. The control and speed measurement cables of the fan cannot be connected to the positive pole of the power supply!
